The Desert Eagle (in French "desert eagle") is a semi-automatic pistol. This pistol was designed in the early 1980s by Magnum Research in the United States and by Israel Military Industries in Israel. Initially, production was entrusted to IMI in Israel for the Mk I and Mk VII versions. Then, in the United States from 1995 to 1998 for the Mk XIX version. Then, again in Israel. Since 2009, the Desert Eagle has been produced again in the United States. Known by sports shooters for being chambered in .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, and .50 Action Express calibers, its firepower has earned it some notoriety in cinema and video games.
