Lightweight Airsoft FPS Piston with all-metal teeth (PM01)

FPS is proud to present the first lightweight piston with a 100% Italian-made technopolymer body and all-metal teeth. The piston material chosen is POM C, a polymer with high mechanical performance and a low coefficient of friction, making it self-lubricating. The rack is assembled using MIM (Metal Injection Molding) technology, as this manufacturing process ensures dimensional precision and strength equivalent to solid-state machining. The rack is presented with the second tooth missing and the third already reduced by 3 tenths of a millimeter, as this configuration predisposes the piston itself to an appropriate angle of engagement (AOE) and makes it suitable for high speed. The type of injected metal is SAE 4650, which is currently considered the best material on the market for this type of use. The sliding guides are designed to minimize friction and retain lubricant for an extended period. The rack seat is decentralized to facilitate coupling between the piston teeth and sector teeth. Longitudinal reinforcements on the sides of the teeth increase the robustness of the piston and prevent the rack from coming into contact with the inner wall of the cylinder. Appropriate ribs reduce the contact surface between the spring and the inner part of the piston, and consequently, the body also decreases friction between the metal and the polymer during contraction and elongation due to the cooking cycle. 100% MADE IN ITALY 100% MARUI COMPATIBLE
